WINTER SPORTS COVER

For many of us (us included), throwing yourself down a well-groomed piste is one of the ultimate thrills. But things can go wrong – even a slight sprain half-way down a blue run can cost hundreds of Euros in the dreaded blood wagon.

What do you get?

  • Two levels of cover to choose from
  • Individual, couple, family and even group options to choose from
  • Up to 17 or 24 days Winter Sports cover on an Annual policy dependent on the option you take
  • Cover for you to hire ski equipment if yours get lost or stolen
  • Cover for you to travel to another resort nearby if the ski lifts on your resort are closed, or if for example, an avalanche causes the total closure of your resort
  • In the event of a Medical Emergency, we are there 24/7
  • Up to £5,000,000 or £10,000,000 Medical , including bringing you home if needed
  • Up to £3000 or £5,000 cancellation cover
  • Baggage covered as standard on all of our policies
  • Travel delays, baggage delay, and even missed departure covered
  • Theft of money, passports and travel documents covered

The things you should know:

  • Any claim arising directly or indirectly from any medical conditions which existed before you took out this policy will not be covered.
  • We won’t cover any claim resulting from you being drunk or intoxicated (we don’t expect you to be teetotal, but if you really go to town we can’t pick up that tab!).
  • If you travel to places where an official body like the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the UK, have advised against travel, then we won’t cover you for being there.
  • A full list of inclusions, exclusions and add-ons can be found in our policy wording.
  • Also - we don’t cover the embarrassment of being tied up in a big orange sled – but we do cover the costs of taking you off the mountain!
